Lux and Layered Co. was built from my lifelong love of baking and a deep respect for what real ingredients should be. I’ve been a home baker for more than 30 years, and over time I began to notice how far baking had drifted from its roots. So many products relied on artificial dyes, additives, and chemical enhancements—things that felt unnecessary and disconnected from the simplicity I grew up with and trusted. I created Lux and Layered Co. because I wanted to bring baking back to something honest, elevated, and approachable. I believe luxury isn’t about complexity—it’s about quality, intention, and care in every detail. My goal has always been simple: to make bakery-style products that feel indulgent and special, while still being made with clean, recognizable ingredients you can feel good about.
